Found my passion for graphic design, fashion, and editorial design creating a magazine for my middle school library. Designed my first typeface (inspired by cartoon frogs LOL!)
Design school here I come! Who knew I would find the loves of my life, graphic design and my future hubby in my favorite city in the world, New Orleans.
Graduated with my design degree from Loyola New Orleans, got married and started my first job after college, where I fell in love with calligraphy, stationery, printing, and planning weddings.
Took a leap of faith and started my wedding planning side hustle in Nola. Launched my website and booked my first 6-figure wedding.
Booked the biggest job of my life — becoming a momma! I dove into learning calligraphy to boost my business during maternity leave. Booked my first calligraphy client and opened my Etsy shop.
Life happened! We packed up the conestoga wagon and headed west for my husband’s job in HTX. Took on my last wedding planning client.
Baby #2 and business #2 were born! Having my second child fueled my desire to build a business that truly supported the creative, fulfilling life I wanted. I combined my expertise in brand strategy, graphic design, and website design to help other women entrepreneurs create beautiful, impactful brands.
Building a new business while facing the challenges of motherhood led to overwhelming stress and major burnout (and even landed me in the ER). Something had to give. I made the decision to prioritize self-care and mental health in a deeper and more meaningful way. Learning about leading-edge mindset strategies changed everything.
I credit crucial mindset strategies for my 10x revenue growth. This transformation not only revitalized my approach in my own business, but also inspired me to guide fellow women creatives in building and expanding their businesses using these same powerful strategies.
Hitting the ground running in 2024! Ready-made brands are launching, published the first episode of the Creative Compass podcast and our MCLEOD CARUSO brand is got a fresh new look.
Big things are coming! Our first course ever will launch along with a community for mompreneurs!
